I like the way the street smells after it rains. Frank Sinatra music is good for any occasion. Vegetable cream cheese is awesome. Meteor showers are better than television. No matter what, the red ones are always best. I enjoy falling asleep to the sound of chirping crickets and then waking up in the morning after a great dream. (Especially the dream where I can fly around like a super hero.) Nothing compares to the company of my best friends.
I have the greatest boyfriend in the world. His name is Neil Gallagher, and as my friends have noted, he’s responsible for my transformation from sarcastic cynic to romantic sap. I can’t say that he is the guy of my dreams because it never even occurred to me to dream him up, since I didn’t know someone so wonderful could exist.
I am also the proud owner of an adorable dog named Lucky. He is technically a mutt, but after asking several veterinarians over the past three years, I’ve concluded he’s probably a boarder collie/ cocker spaniel mix. He has been described by others as “needy” but, I think he is just overly affectionate and sensitive, neither of which are bad traits for a dog. Besides, if I wanted a pet that was indifferent, I’d buy a gold fish.
