Sometimes I think it would be awesome to go back in time and experience how people used to live, like in the film noir movies, but then I remind myself that I am always on the computer. I use the computer all day and work and then at home too. I love the sense of being connected.

Do you remember the days before the internet? I had a million unanswered questions for my parents as a child. Why is the sky blue? Do horses sleep standing up? Etc… Then I would have to wait for a long drawn out answer filled with 10% of the information I wanted and 90% extra stuff that I had to stand and wait and listen to for so long that I regretted asking the question in the first place. I love the internet! I think the internet is a huge vast bottomless pit of knowledge only a mouse click away.

My latest thing that I’m into is rabbits, (my boyfriend and I are now owners of 2 rabbits) since becoming a rabbit owner my opinion of rabbits has totally changed. I used to think they were dumb skittish rodents with blank stares and a constantly twitching nose. Well they are not rodents, they are lagomorphs, and are actually closer related to horses then mice. Rabbits are also not dumb they seem to learn remarkably fast. The blank stares and twitching nose part came out to be true.

I am also the proud owner of an adorable dog named Lucky. He is technically a mutt, but after asking several veterinarians over the past three years, I’ve concluded he’s probably a boarder collie/ cocker spaniel mix. He has been described by others as “needy” but, I think he is just overly affectionate and sensitive, neither of which are bad traits for a dog.

My boyfriend and I started learning German. We are planning our first trip to Berlin in October, and thank god for Rosetta Stone! I never knew learning a language could be easy, let alone fun. Drinking a beer also helps. Beer is actually a German word and somehow beer and German just go together well, but then again beer goes well with a lot of things.
